Unusual Insurance Claim of the Week

During a facial treatment by an esthetician, a malfunction occurred with the steam machine spraying the client in the face with hot water, burning her face.

The esthetician’s assistant drove the client to an emergency room at a nearby hospital.

The insurance claim filed against the esthetician and paid by MASSAGE Magazine Insurance Plus’s broker was $65,000.
