Animal Massage
Animal Massage Therapy involves kneading, stroking or otherwise manipulating muscles and other soft tissue with the intent of improving health and well-being. To design an appropriate massage routine for an animal, the therapist must combine knowledge of anatomy, observation of the animal's movement and demeanor, the animal's history and experience through working with other animals. During the course of massage, the therapist will note both positive and negative reactions by the animal as well as any physical changes, and vary the routine as needed to obtain the most favorable results.
