Body-Mind Centering is an innovative approach to health, movement and bodywork for infants, children and adults. Body-Mind Centering is based on two premises: that the mind is inseparable from and centered in the body and that through the body the mind can be explored and expressed. Body-Mind Centering is the work of Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen and was developed with her many students and teachers. Body-Mind Centering focuses on four primary areas: body systems, tissues and cells; developmental movement patterns; touch and repatterning, and movement facilitation and expression.
