Georgia Reiki Liability Insurance Limits
1 Additional Insured: $10 | Unlimited Additional Insureds: $30
Some Georgia Reiki Liability Insurance carrier policies offer different coverage limits based on your full-time or part-time status. This means that if you’re a part-time Reiki practitioner in Georgia’s thriving holistic community, your coverage may be lower than that of a full-time practitioner.
At Massage Magazine Insurance Plus, we believe in equal protection for all Georgia Reiki practitioners, so every policy offers the same robust coverage limits. Whether you’re a full-time practitioner, part-time healer, or student in Georgia’s diverse holistic community, you’ll enjoy the same comprehensive liability coverage. Our Georgia Reiki Liability Insurance program prices are tailored based on how you use the coverage and your preferred payment options.
Professional Liability Insurance: Also known as "malpractice insurance" or "errors and omissions insurance," covers claims related to professional negligence, including instances like burns from hot stones and other injuries caused directly from your professional services.
General Liability Insurance: Provides protection from claims that may not directly stem from your professional services. For example, if a client simply tripped and fell on your property, this coverage would protect you from the financial fallout of the lawsuit.
This coverage can help protect you if you’re accused of libel, slander, or false advertising.
Provides protection against identity theft and threat incidents that would put personal information at risk. Typically includes credit monitoring, dark web scans, and recovery services if your information is jeopardized.
DO REIKI THERAPISTS NEED INSURANCE?
Yes, Reiki masters and practicioners need to have reiki practitioner insurance because it safeguards you against the unexpected which happens every day. Although Reiki practice is very safe, Reiki insurance coverage provides a layer of protection from claims as simple as a client tripping and falling on your premises to claims related to your reiki services like nausea and fainting from the effects of Reiki.
Additionally, while the practice of Reiki is becoming much more popular, many still view it skeptically. Having Reiki liability insurance improves the professional credibility of your practice.

Georgia Reiki Insurance Frequently Asked Questions
Reiki insurance is designed to actively protect professionals from the many different forms of risks they’ll face every day in the industry. The three main types of coverage comprising our reiki insurance plan are general liability, professional liability, and personal injury & advertising coverage.
With MMIP, yes, you can. Some policies fall under claims made policy, but ours use the industry-preferred type, which is occurrence form. Claims-made policies are clear-cut - you have to file a claim while the policy is still active to be considered. If you have a session on the last day of your policy, but a claim comes days later, you won’t be able to file for this claim.
Occurrence form coverage takes a more realistic approach and says you can still file a claim after the policy expires as long as the claim event happened during the active term. This important distinction is the difference between full and no coverage, so always make sure your policy uses the occurrence form.
Absolutely. There are many occasions where an additional insured is needed on a policy so we make it easy to add as many additional insureds as is needed.
For example, being added as an additional insured may be required by landlords who don’t want to be held liable for something arising from the activities of their tenants.
With MMIP’s energy work insurance, you’d have up to $2 million to cover the general liability claim costs and any legal defense fees, if necessary.
While some Reiki insurance plans out there do require a certain number of hours of training and/or education, MMIP has no such requirement.
We want our reiki insurance policies to be as accessible to professionals as possible, no matter where they find themselves in their careers.
Reiki practitioners can get our all-inclusive insurance policy tailored for Reiki for the low annual rate of just $169. You can use our discounted reiki student insurance policy if you're a student. At just $49 for an entire year of coverage, this professional-caliber policy is one of the best values on the market today.
A smart move is to wait until just before graduating to activate your student insurance policy. That way, you’ll get most of your first year on the job covered, great insurance options, and awesome benefits - all for around $4 per month.
At just $169 per year, or around $13 per month, each policyholder gets millions of dollars worth of insurance coverage types, additional protection mechanisms built-in, and a whole suite of awesome member benefits available immediately.
Compared to the price of a lawsuit, which could include medical bills, rehabilitation costs, lost wages, legal fees, and more, the coverage and peace of mind that comes with securing reiki insurance is an incredible value.
MMIP created a program that covers the many variations of reiki and hundreds of additional massage, health, and wellness services. Acupressure, shiatsu, medical qigong, reflexology, and more are all covered under one all-inclusive policy.
Absolutely! In addition to many extra protections above and beyond liability coverage, like identity protection, members enjoy access to a full suite of benefits worth hundreds of dollars.
Take advantage of 50 hours of NCBTMB-approved continuing education courses, get a free, custom website up and running, and enjoy exclusive discounts from the top names in massage products and business services.
Massage spas usually carry some insurance for their employees, but this can be a small amount of coverage, and they’ll commonly have shared annual aggregates. This means that other members in the group can deplete the coverage amount before you get a chance to use it.
To get the peace of mind knowing you’re covered no matter what, and at just $169 per year, having your own reiki insurance policy is the way to go.
Yes, we offer monthly payment options via PayPal’s Pay Monthly credit program. While this is convenient, we advise paying in full upfront to avoid credit checks. PayPal will divide your total policy cost and a small service fee into monthly installments. Be aware that a credit check is required, and there’s no interest if paid off within six months. After six months, interest may apply.
Yes, you are covered for services at both locations. Our policy protects you whether you’re working in your office or at a client’s home. As long as you're following local or state laws, your coverage applies across all 50 states.
Yes! You can buy a policy now and choose a start date within the next three months. For instance, if you purchase on February 1 but want coverage to begin on March 23, simply choose March 23 as your start date during checkout.
You can access your certificate of insurance by logging into your online member portal and selecting the "Certificate of Insurance" option. If you need assistance, give us a call and we’ll email it to you.
Filing a claim is easy! Contact our Operations Team at sarasota.bsd.operations@ajg.com to get started. They’ll verify your coverage and ask you to complete a Claim Summary Form. Depending on the situation, they may also request additional documentation. We’ll guide you through the next steps.
The difference is based on the number of hours you work with clients each week. If you work 10 or fewer hours, a part-time policy is right for you. If you work more than 10 hours weekly, you'll need a full-time policy. Business tasks like marketing and admin work don't count toward these hours, and both policies offer the same coverage limits.
