What Our Reflexology Insurance Covers
Reflexology insurance from MMIP provides both professional and general liability coverage and additional safeguards that provide the best all-around protection possible.
Our Liability Insurance for Reflexologists Provide Coverage Under the Following Areas:
General Liability Insurance: This is also known as “slip and fall” insurance. When you open your doors and start receiving clients, you’re also opening yourself up to general liability. A client tripping over a loose front door mat and injuring themselves is an example of an event that would fall under this coverage type.
$2,000,000 per occurrence, $3,000,000 per year
Professional Liability Insurance for Reflexologists: Also called “malpractice coverage” or "public liability" this liability insurance protection is for the actual services you provide during a session. If a client reports an injury from your professional services, they may seek legal action to get compensation. These types of claims would fall under reflexology professional liability insurance.
$2,000,000 per occurrence, $3,000,000 per year (included with general liability)
Identity Protection Plan: Today’s Reflexology therapists are exposed more than ever to the threat of a cyber incident stealing their personal data. If this occurs, our members get all the way up to $25,000 in identity restoration services.

What is Reflexology?
Reflexology massage focuses on applying pressure to very specific locations in the feet, hands, and outer ear for achieving desired effects elsewhere in the body. For example, a cramp in the abdomen may be related to an endochromatic imbalance which a foot massage focusing on the big toes and ankles can soothe. After treatment, patients report feeling pain/stress relief, and tranquility. The peace that is achieved helps the body release tension to be able to better heal itself from stress events. Stress has been linked to a myriad of physical and emotional trauma, which is why receiving massage therapy centered on reflexology can be so beneficial to one’s overall health.
Do I Need Reflexology Liability Insurance?
In some states, having liability insurance might be a legal requirement to practice massage therapy. The rules and regulations can vary widely between jurisdictions.
